: Conference Semi-final Set For July 10 at 7:45pm When Real San Jose walked off the field following a 1-1 draw with San Diego plans for a trip south for playoffs were already being considered. San Diego had one home match remaing and a win would have them hosting RSJ in the conference semi-finals. Fortunately San Diego failed to cash in on their opportunity by losing to Sacramento on July 3 and RSJ is home for first of a possible two playoff matches, at least. [Read More...]

: Playoff Position Still in Doubt Following Exciting Draw Real San Jose will have to wait to see if they will host a first round playoff match thanks to a unlucky bounce in the 82nd minute of the match against San Diego Boca FC played at Yerba Buena High School. With RSJ leading 1-0 via an Andy Cuevas goal in the 15th minute, San Diego was pressing forward hoping to salvage a draw and a chance to take 2nd place in the conference in their final match against Sacramento on July 3rd. Boca were awarded a direct free kick 23 yards from the RSJ goal. Dan Antoniuk took the shot that started right then deflected off the shoulder of Cuevas, who has positioned in the wall, and flew left. : RSJ Falls to Sacramento Stills Earns Playoff Spot Real San Jose failed in their attempt to seize at least temporary control of first place in the NPSL Northwest Conference by suffering a 4-1 defeat to first place Sacramento Gold in an action filled match played at Yerba Buena High School in San Jose. : Battle for First This Saturday Night This Saturday evening Real San Jose plays host to the Sacramento Gold in a top of the table clash in the NPSL Northwest Conference. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30pm at Yerba Buena High School. RSJ and the Gold each have 16 points with the Gold having played one less game. A win for RSJ would put the club in a strong position to claim at least one home playoff match. [Read More...]
